A Little Rain, and Comfortable Temperatures

      Hey everybody, how are you all doing!?  Been getting a lot of request to do a weather update on our weather for the rest of the week, there is a chance for rain tomorrow and some people have been curious to any severe weather, so let's take a Look at it, and see what's up!

This is the latest run of the NAM (North American Model). That his is Valid around 6pm tomorrow evening, it shows a frontal boundary of showers and thundershowers sweeping southwards through the state. Now I did view the CAPE (Convective Available Potential Energy), it's basically the number amount of Instability in the Atmosphere. It seems like the instability kicks up in North Louisiana as the front moves that way. So I don't see much of a chance for any Severe Weather here in Arkansas, MAYBE some strong storms in far south Arkansas but nothing widespread for sure.
This is the NAM CAPE Map that I was talking about, this is around 6pm tomorrow (Today) evening as well, and there's a little bit in Far South Arkansas, but it's nothing to ride home about.
      As far as Rain goes, that's IT.! From today - Sunday I don't see any other chances for rain. But TEMPERATURES! The Front mentioned earlier will bring us some AMAZING temperatures for this time of year. Today I expect LOW-MID 70s!!!!  With Lows in the Low 60s.... That's freaking AWESOME!! I pretty much expect that to continue through Friday. Friday - Sunday we'll get closer to 80° some spots hitting 80. But Lows still in the low 70s mid 60s!!!!  Those are truly AWESOME Temperatures! With NO RAIN!  Just get out, sit on the porch, let the windows up, cruise with the windows down, and enjoy the weather!      Hey everybody, I hope everybody is having a Fantastic night so far, and I hope everybody is safe. Over the last week, I've been watching a Storm System moving through tomorrow afternoon. The Main threats will be Limited Due to the timing of day, and the level of severity will be limited due to the lack of Instability. See Below.      This is a map courtesy of the National Weather Service in North Little Rock, as you can see here the Primary Threats will be Large Hail, and Damaging Thunderstorm Winds. Tornadoes cannot be ruled out, but are not likely.  This will not be a widespread severe weather outbreak. Mainly because this will come as two waves of moisture. The first wave of showers and storms will move through early in the morning on Thursday, SOME MAY BE STRONG. So for those getting up for work, and school, be aware of this. First Weather Update of 2016 !!!!!!

Overnight Storms

     Hey everybody, how's it going! I hope you guys are having a good day so far. I know I haven't done any weather updates recently, haven't had much going on weather wise, and I'm in the middle of a busy work week, so I just haven't had time to do anything. But I'm making time today, because we have a storm system coming in overnight tonight, and into tomorrow morning. So lets take a dive into it aye.     As far as Timing goes, It's looking like Late this Evening in Oklahoma, Later tonight in West Arkansas, and moving left to right across the state during the Overnight Hours. So for Central Arkansas 12-2AM would be a good bet, and East Arkansas 2-7AM would be a good bet.     As far as what the threats are, well mainly due solely to the timing of the night this will move in, the MAIN threats are Hail, and Damaging Straight Line Winds.
