Developing: Severe Weather Possible

Hey Everybody, How's it going. I hope all is well at this point, and GoodMorning to All. There is a chance for Damaging wind today, and some Large Hail. There will be a Slight Tornado Threat with this, but I do not expect anytype of major weather Outbreak.

The Chance is Definitely there for Strong Damaging Wind with this, as well as the possibility for Some Strong hail. There will be a Squall Line moving in over the course of the Morning through West, and West Central Arkansas. This will ramp this afternoon as the atmosphere heat up. By the time the atmosphere get to a point to where it can support Elevated thunderstorms. Now with this threat of Elevated storms, this will be in West Central Arkansas moving into the Central Sections of the State. The Line of Storms will intensify as it draws deeper into Central Arkansas, and into and through East Arkansas.

There is an Isolated Tornado threat just due to the Wind energy associated with this, and the heat supply from the Atmosphere as the day heats up. Now if there are scattered showers, and widespread rain around the area ahead of the main line, that will act to stabilize the atmosphere and the Tornado threat will be lower, but if there's sunshine out ahead of this, then that will add to the instability in the atmosphere.

I cannot accurately say which way this will swing until everything start to unfold, but I will be out chasing if we do have Tornadoes or a substantial threat for them. I will aso be doing weather updates throughout the day on Social media to keep everybody aware of what's going on.

This is a risk map from The National Weather Service North Little Rock office. There's a slight risk for that southwest corridor that I mentioned above. As those storms start to move into that area, the day is expected to warm, which will addd to the chance for dangerous weather.
