Lol Armageddon???

      Heyy everybody, how's it goin.! I want to start this post off by saying NO, IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. What caused me to make this post is the fact that everybody on my Facebookand Twitter pages is quoting the Bible, and saying the world is ending because of the Flooding. Flooding is a Natural occurance just like Tornadoes, Lightning, and straight lined winds. Flooding is no different. The way Flooding happens is, when you get powerful frontal boundaries to come in and STALL, then multiple rounds of storms systems moves up along that frontal boundary. When this happen you get MULTIPLE shots of Severe Weather and HEAVY rain because these Storm Systems have the ability to pull A LOT of moisture up from the ocean. When these Storm systems come through they will DUMP all of that water that they pull out of the ocean through the evaporation process back out over land. Beneath the ground we live on there is what's called a WATER TABLE its the place all the water goes when it soaks and dries into the ground. When this Water Table is Full or Overloaded this Water gets trapped on land. That's when we see what's called "Standing Water". This water then has to flow through the dips and valleys within the ground to the rivers, creeks, and streams. When the Rivers, Creeks and Streams get overloaded the water back up. This entire process is what is known as FLOODING. Flooding is basically a huge WATER BACKUP. The Rivers get Clogged and Swollen, the Creeks turn into rivers. The Streams turn into raging Rivers. All Simply because the water is RUSHING South Towards the Ocean. If it's a lot of rain like we have been getting the whole system of rivers and creeks can get SO backed up and overloaded with water to the point to where the Rivers just can't flow fast enough. The water just can't get out fast enough. So when this happens you start to see water pilling up in cities, flooding out neighborhoods and causing serious problems because everything is so overloaded with BILLIONS of Gallons of water that has been just dumped over the area at once. This is all we are seeing. Flooding is natural disaster because it is not a normal occurance. But it does happen when one area is bumbarded with too much water at one time. That's what we seeing in Texas. That's what we are seeing here in Arkansas. The water is backing up and spilling into areas where we live. It is NORMAL. IT'S NATURAL. It has happened before. This is NOT the first. Won't be the last. Just give it time. It will start to die down. Flooding is like a Common Cold.  You have to let it run it's course.

     Hey everybody, I hope everybody is having a Fantastic night so far, and I hope everybody is safe. Over the last week, I've been watching a Storm System moving through tomorrow afternoon. The Main threats will be Limited Due to the timing of day, and the level of severity will be limited due to the lack of Instability. See Below.      This is a map courtesy of the National Weather Service in North Little Rock, as you can see here the Primary Threats will be Large Hail, and Damaging Thunderstorm Winds. Tornadoes cannot be ruled out, but are not likely.  This will not be a widespread severe weather outbreak. Mainly because this will come as two waves of moisture. The first wave of showers and storms will move through early in the morning on Thursday, SOME MAY BE STRONG. So for those getting up for work, and school, be aware of this. First Weather Update of 2016 !!!!!!

     Heyy Everybody GoodMorning, and How's it Going!! Thanks for coming here to the Weather Hawk's Blog for the first blog post update of the new year! I'm doing this update to inform you guys of our first rain chances of the new year! First for two things aye! Overnight Storms

     Hey everybody, how's it going! I hope you guys are having a good day so far. I know I haven't done any weather updates recently, haven't had much going on weather wise, and I'm in the middle of a busy work week, so I just haven't had time to do anything. But I'm making time today, because we have a storm system coming in overnight tonight, and into tomorrow morning. So lets take a dive into it aye.     As far as Timing goes, It's looking like Late this Evening in Oklahoma, Later tonight in West Arkansas, and moving left to right across the state during the Overnight Hours. So for Central Arkansas 12-2AM would be a good bet, and East Arkansas 2-7AM would be a good bet.     As far as what the threats are, well mainly due solely to the timing of the night this will move in, the MAIN threats are Hail, and Damaging Straight Line Winds.
