Hit and Miss Snow

        Okay, so remember my last post I said their MAY be a few more hit and miss chances this winter for some snow or frozen stuff. Well tomorrow we have one hit and miss chance. Now this will be light and possibly ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I do NOT think we will get anything for the most part here in Central Arkansas. The ONLY people that might see anything is in Northeast Arkansas around Mt. Home over to Jonesboro or points North of there. They could see a dusting to POSSIBLY a Half an inch, and that's stretching it honestly. This will be NOTHING major. Now don't be Shocked of you see a few flakes flying around the Little Rock area. But this will by NO means be a big deal. It will be VERY cold in the morning. Windchill will be in the Teens around the metro and single digits up north. So DRESS WARMLY.

     Hey everybody, I hope everybody is having a Fantastic night so far, and I hope everybody is safe. Over the last week, I've been watching a Storm System moving through tomorrow afternoon. The Main threats will be Limited Due to the timing of day, and the level of severity will be limited due to the lack of Instability. See Below.      This is a map courtesy of the National Weather Service in North Little Rock, as you can see here the Primary Threats will be Large Hail, and Damaging Thunderstorm Winds. Tornadoes cannot be ruled out, but are not likely.  This will not be a widespread severe weather outbreak. Mainly because this will come as two waves of moisture. The first wave of showers and storms will move through early in the morning on Thursday, SOME MAY BE STRONG. So for those getting up for work, and school, be aware of this. First Weather Update of 2016 !!!!!!

Overnight Storms

     Hey everybody, how's it going! I hope you guys are having a good day so far. I know I haven't done any weather updates recently, haven't had much going on weather wise, and I'm in the middle of a busy work week, so I just haven't had time to do anything. But I'm making time today, because we have a storm system coming in overnight tonight, and into tomorrow morning. So lets take a dive into it aye.     As far as Timing goes, It's looking like Late this Evening in Oklahoma, Later tonight in West Arkansas, and moving left to right across the state during the Overnight Hours. So for Central Arkansas 12-2AM would be a good bet, and East Arkansas 2-7AM would be a good bet.     As far as what the threats are, well mainly due solely to the timing of the night this will move in, the MAIN threats are Hail, and Damaging Straight Line Winds.
