The Arkansas Winter Roller-coaster!

    Okay Jumping right into the swing of things, there is A LOT TO TALK ABOUT. Very DYNAMIC, and bipolar Weather over the next few days. First off we looking at going from Winter Weather, to fall Weather, then from fall Weather to Spring Weather, then Back to Winter Weather.!!!! Put your Seat belt on!!!!

      Okay so for Thursday Night into Friday. We are looking at Rain moving later tonight around close to midnight showers will break out.  With Subfreezing temperatures, we talking about freezing rain and sleet. It will be mostly scattered tonight. Tomorrow morning around mid morning is when I'm   expecting it to really pick up. Now to answer everybody's question, YESS This will cause travel issues.  IT WILL STICK. Now During the day Friday temperatures will SLOWLY rise above freezing then that Freezing Rain/Sleet will change over to a plain cold rain.

  Now as For Saturday, Im expecting the Temperatures to go into the Mid 60s!!!!!!! Talk about bipolar. Within 24 hours we go from Winter to Spring!!! Now as the Temperatures rise Saturday, Instability Levels will go with it,  so Guess What??? STORMS!!!! During the Afternoon and evening hours there is a CHANCE for a Severe Storm Or Two!!!  This Is Crazy!!! I don't expect Tornadoes thank God. But there will be thunder and lightning somewhere!!

     Now as For Sunday Night into Monday!!!!! Cold air Comes BACK SOUTH into Arkansas, and with Moisture in place guess what??????!!! ANOTHER CHANCE FOR WINTER WEATHER!!!!!! No specifics on this system yet tho. Too far off.

  Now Tonight and Tomorrow I'M NOT EXPECTING A MAJOR STORM!!! No need to rob the bread isle on this one. But If stuff do go bad and Jobs and school let out early, BEWARE OF THE MASS RUSH HOUR!!!! As far as Accumulations go,  it WILL NOT be as Big as Our last storm earlier this week. Tomorrow we looking at a quarter to a half inch in South, and Central Arkansas. Not too bad.  But it's enough to cause issues!!!!

     Hey everybody, I hope everybody is having a Fantastic night so far, and I hope everybody is safe. Over the last week, I've been watching a Storm System moving through tomorrow afternoon. The Main threats will be Limited Due to the timing of day, and the level of severity will be limited due to the lack of Instability. See Below.      This is a map courtesy of the National Weather Service in North Little Rock, as you can see here the Primary Threats will be Large Hail, and Damaging Thunderstorm Winds. Tornadoes cannot be ruled out, but are not likely.  This will not be a widespread severe weather outbreak. Mainly because this will come as two waves of moisture. First Weather Update of 2016 !!!!!!

     Heyy Everybody GoodMorning, and How's it Going!! Thanks for coming here to the Weather Hawk's Blog for the first blog post update of the new year! I'm doing this update to inform you guys of our first rain chances of the new year! First for two things aye! Overnight Storms

     Hey everybody, how's it going! I hope you guys are having a good day so far. I know I haven't done any weather updates recently, haven't had much going on weather wise, and I'm in the middle of a busy work week, so I just haven't had time to do anything. But I'm making time today, because we have a storm system coming in overnight tonight, and into tomorrow morning. So lets take a dive into it aye.     As far as Timing goes, It's looking like Late this Evening in Oklahoma, Later tonight in West Arkansas, and moving left to right across the state during the Overnight Hours. So for Central Arkansas 12-2AM would be a good bet, and East Arkansas 2-7AM would be a good bet.     As far as what the threats are, well mainly due solely to the timing of the night this will move in, the MAIN threats are Hail, and Damaging Straight Line Winds.
