  Hey Everybody HOW IS IT GOING!!! It is I Omarrian Wilson (The Arkansas Weather Hawk). It's been a while since I've posted here on the Blog aye!! I didn't forget about the blog, I've actually been coming up with more imformal ways to broaden it's use. I'm going to do random articles on different things (Weather Related of course.)      Welcome to the Arkansas Desert!!!! The place where temperatures rise with no relief or clouds to stop them. LOL. But all Jokes aside, guys it's DANGEROUSLY Hot outside. The Heat index is 100°+ in most areas. A Heat Advisory is in effect for a major part of the state for the better part of the week. Your forecast is a chance of Heavy Sun shine, with a 100% chance of extreme HEAT!!!   Here's a forecast Courtesy of the National Weather Service in North Little Rock. This is the Expected Heat indexes around the state. This is REALLY Hot weather Folks. It's DANGEROUSLY Hot outside. This is the reason why there are Heat Advisories everywhere.  Here's some Heat Safety Tips. DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!! Esp if you are messing around out doors. Drink as Much Water as you feel you need to. Carry Lots of Liquid with you. Gatorade, Powerade are also GREAT Drinks that can put those Electrolytes back into your body!! DO NOT DRESS IN LAYERS!!!       Well it's been awhile since I've been here on the blog. Just a typical summer in Arkansas. Just Hot, and More Hot. No air, no rain, just HEAT. But today that will change for some people. There is a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect dor parts of North Arkansas, that runs until 8PM. Now I do NOT Think there will be Widespread Severe Weather. The Tornado threat is LOW, The Strong Wind Threat is LOW, Hail is the only thing to worry about honestly. These Storms will be Elevated, and Strong. But barely Severe. So if you find yourself under one of these downpours, they will be quite strong so BEWARE. If there are any issues I will Update and let you guys know. If you have ANY QUESTIONS Please ASK.       Heyy Everybody, How's it going!!  I know I haven't been blogging much, but not much has been going on Weather Wise, so Ive just been busy with my Jobs,  and my Busy Life.  But that's all about to change. If you remember ths last BOMBARDMENT of rain we got here in Arkansas was due to a frontal boundary stalling out around the state,  that allowed multiple rounds of heavy rains to move through the area,  in return from all that we got bad flooding here in the state. Well over the Next several days we are moving into the same type of setup. Now,  Im NOT expecting NOWHERE near the type of flooding we got with the last system. But their will be Flash Flooding in areas. These downpours won't last forever, but they will be quite heavy so BEWARE if you find yourself under one.  Due to this Widespread possibility of Local downpours, the Chances for rain will remain in the Forecast for at least the better part of next week.     Well I don't know if you guys know or not,  but today marks the 1 year anniversary of The Arkansas Weather Hawk's Blogg. It has only been a year but it feels like its been YEARS! I love this Blog,  when I started out with this blog it was only 4 views in the stats LOL. But as the days have gone by it has wenf from 4 to over 195,000 hits on this blog from last year to today.  This blog gets awesome support by family and friends. With the help of a few people and paychecks,  I plan on designing some Arkansas Weather Hawk T-shirts, and Logo.  When I first started this blog, I wasn't really expecting it to be a big hit with people. I started thia blog mainly to make it easier to broadcast people about incoming Storm Systems that could be dangerous to fellow Arkansans. I found that a blog was much easier than writing these HUGE Gigantic Paragraphs all over Facebook, then breaking it up into a MILLION Peaces on Twitter. I figured I could make a place whe...

      Heyy everybody, how's it goin.! I want to start this post off by saying NO, IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. What caused me to make this post is the fact that everybody on my Facebookand Twitter pages is quoting the Bible, and saying the world is ending because of the Flooding. Flooding is a Natural occurance just like Tornadoes, Lightning, and straight lined winds. Flooding is no different. The way Flooding happens is, when you get powerful frontal boundaries to come in and STALL, then multiple rounds of storms systems moves up along that frontal boundary. When this happen you get MULTIPLE shots of Severe Weather and HEAVY rain because these Storm Systems have the ability to pull A LOT of moisture up from the ocean. When these Storm systems come through they will DUMP all of that water that they pull out of the ocean through the evaporation process back out over land. Beneath the ground we live on there is what's called a WATER TABLE its the place all the water goes...

Now down to the niddy gritty.  I made a post yesterday concerning Flooding, well today that is STILL a concern but now we must add Severe Weather to the equation. There's a pretty powerful Low Pressure System spinning out of the Central Plains, it will be lifting north. So with it will come a front, with any front that comes through this time of year strong to severe storms will come with it. This comes through as a broken line of storms, but it's coming from the southwest instead moving directly left to right, it will be moving diagonally, up the I30 corridor, while simultaneously moving East into Central Arkansas.
